Welcome to Clover Park School District (CPSD). We proudly serve students from Pre-K through 12th grade living on Joint Base Lewis-McChord and in the city of Lakewood. A third of CPSD students are military-connected. CPSD operates six elementary schools on base. Middle and high school students living on base may attend their neighborhood school located off base.
Relocating to a new community and starting fresh at a new school can be stressful. Our goal is to ease your transition into or out of our district by supporting the unique needs of your military family.
2026-27 Back to School Information
School starts on Wednesday, Sept. 2. Kindergarten conferences will be held Sept. 2-4, with school starting for kindergartners on Tuesday, Sept. 8.
CPSD is a Washington State Purple Star Award school district.
The Purple Star Award recognizes school districts that address educational, social and emotional barriers students experience when their parents/guardians are deployed or when relocating and transferring to a different school.
