Do you and your student have questions about completing high school requirements, preparing for college and a career, or financial aid?

CPSD is hosting a FREE event for all high school students and their families to answer questions about these important topics and more. College and Career Readiness 101 will be held Thursday, Nov. 21, from 4:30 to 8 p.m. at Harrison Preparatory School.

This is a great opportunity for students and families from all CPSD high schools to learn more about navigating high school, special education resources, preparing and paying for college, and applying for jobs with local employers.

Seniors and their families can also meet with financial aid experts and set up FAFSA accounts to complete the application when it opens on Sunday, Dec. 1.

There will be additional sessions on how to recover from a failing grade, earn college credit in high school and budget for college and scholarships. Families will also be provided tons of resources to support their student’s high school journey and post-secondary pathway plan.

Interpreters will be present throughout the event to support families as needed. Food and prizes will also be provided.

Please fill out this Microsoft Form to register ahead of time so that we can plan for you and your family.
